BACKGROUND

Juliet was born as the youngest in the Prevot children, being the 4th one.  She spent most of her time in Paris with her parents, but being the troubled kid that she was, her parents sent her to Japan for vacation, to stay with her grandparents from herm others side Yukie and Akemi Masami to see id they could discipline the difficult child.

During Juliet�s visit, Yukie and Akemi noticed that she was often teased and bullied for being a chubby child, and rejected / neglected by her family, being the youngest one, she lived in the shadow of her oldest siblings.  Her grandparents listened closely, something Juliet�s parents didn�t do and so she grew closer to them, begging them not to send her back.  Yukie spoke to Kimikai, the mother didn�t find much importance to this and so the decision was made.  Juliet stood in Ikebukuro with her grandparents who homeschooled her, so she could learn proper Japanese until she turned 14 and was old enough and prepared to enroll into a High School.

While she was being homeschooled, Juliet often wandered around, so she could learn her ways around, there she met a peculiar brown haired boy who always seemed hurt, being the shy girl that she was, and she did not dare talk to him.  Once she turned 13, she was walking around the streets, her appearance had completely changed due to the diet and exorcise she was put into.  She caught the attention of a certain older male, Takashi Nasujima, who caught her walking on her own with her over developed body structure.  Being a sun setting evening, this man took the opportunity, to try and attack her, but nearby came walking the young Shizuo, who heard the cries for help and spotted them, quickly taking Takashi out with full force, both of them ending up in a full body cast. Takashi couldn�t press charges, and lucky for him, Juliet didn�t either. Everyday at 3 o �clock, Juliet would visit Shizuo in the Hospital with sweets she would prepare for him, while learning from her grandmother.  Juliet thanked Shizuo every moment she visited, spending time with him, nursing him and growing close.

Once they both entered Raira Academy, although Shizuo was a year or two older than her, she was skipped to the same class as him, being as intelligent as she was, and looked over for Shizuo, making friends with Shinra, Kyohei and Celty, already knowing the infamous, Izaya Orihara from taking care of his toddler sisters, Mairu and Kururi.  Juliet also worked at the Russian Sushi Shop as a waitress, learning Russian and how to fight by both Dennis and Simon who saw massive potential in her, teaching her to a level that she could atleast stop an attack coming from Shizuo and to out wit Izaya.

After all this time, Juliets parents only sent her grandparents money in which they put away for her to use in her future, but never really took a moment to ask about her.

At the age of 19, Juliet moved out of her grandparent�s house and moved in with her close friend, Shizuo, since she was the one to do his hair and was always there to get him out of trouble.  That year her grandparents passed away from an illness them both had acquired.  She began her life as a woman, working in the morning at the Sushi Shop and studying cosmetology during the nights, she also became a secret photographer and spy for magazines, gangs and even Izaya, being how she made her �extra money� during her years.  She stopped once she noticed that the person she had to expose was the leader of the yellow scarves, a young boy who often enjoyed flirting with her, was getting into some serious trouble, also having evidence of the twisted life Izaya had and Yagiri Namie was.  She hung up her camera and kept that evidence hidden to her, already having her certificate and the money to open her own Salon.

Becoming the full grown woman, she still lived with Shizuo and claimed him to the world as her boyfriend, although it annoyed him, he never really argued against it, but aside of all of that, Juliet does adore and love that man, just never told him.  With her business being as successful as it was, she always kept her life simple, and became very close to Masaomi Kida, becoming some sort of mother figure to him, she looked out for him, finding him similar to how Shizuo used to be, and usually takes him out to eat, she also helped him bring over his friend Mikado and meeting Anri later on.

Simon knew about her past job and as protection gave her the bladed fan, knowing that Izaya could try to get her and the evidence that she held, Juliet keeps herself crowded, and when Izaya is around she just plays around with him, but never gives him the idea that she might have it.  She does call Izaya a pervert, knowing what he had done with the younger girls, but doesn�t hate him knowing how caring him and Shizuo are with the small Orihara twins.

Every time Shizuo and she walk to meet up with Tom, she always tells Tom to take care of him before they leave.  Tom actually does believe that they both are a couple.  Juliet in special circumstances does use the art of Black Mail, but only If it it�s needed and does not let anyone take her for a fool, and also persuasion does come in handy, and it�s specially productive when she has a  revealing attire.
